JEE Main Application Form 2019

Candidates can fill and submit an application through online mode. Candidates have to submit it before the due date mentioned.

Below we are providing the details of JEE Main registration 2019:

  • Aadhaar card is importantmandatory to fill out the application.
  • Candidates can apply for JEE Main registration 2019 through online
  • JEE Main 2019 registration has been started from 1st September 2018till 30th September.
  • After filling, application candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature of candidate & mother’s/father’s/guardian.
  • UploadPhotograph dimension should be 3.5 x 4.5 cm and dimension of the signature should be 3.5 x 1.5 cm.
  • Candidates uploading images should be in JPG or JPEG
  • Single Candidates cannot apply Multiple applications if did their application will be rejected.
  • No provision to send the hard copy of the application.

Application Fee:

JEE Main 2019 Application form fees can be paid by online or through e-challan. For more details, candidates have to look at the following necessary details provided below.

  • The application fee will be different as per the categories and mode of examinations.
  • Fee payment will be done through credit/debit card.
  • Candidates can also pay the fee through e-challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank.
  • The fee will not be accepted through DD, money order, IPO, etc.
  • The application fee will be non-refundable.

JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria

All applied candidates should know the JEE Main 2019 eligibility criteria. Candidates should make

Ensure their eligibility before applying for the JEE Main exam. Most of the candidates fail to know the criteria which affect them at time of registration.

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria from below:

Age Limit:

  • The date of birth should fall on or after 1st October 1994.
  • For SC/ST &PwD candidates, the DOB should fall on or after 1st October 1989.

Attempt Limit:

  • Candidates can attempt for maximum three times for the JEE Mains exam.
  • Attempt limit is the same for all the categories.
  • For JEE Advanced, candidates can appear for a maximum of two consecutive

Qualification Criteria:

Qualifying Exam10+2 or equivalent exam passed in 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply.
Appearing CandidatesCandidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply.
Diploma HoldersDiploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. Such candidates also have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
Minimum MarksThere is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main.
For admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIsCandidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
A number of SubjectsCandidates must have five subjects in the 10+2 exam. Candidates should have physicsmathematics, language, anyone from the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject.
Year of AppearanceCandidates who have passed 12th exams in 2016 is not eligible to apply. Students who have appeared in 12th exams in 2016, did not pass in 2016 but passed in 2017 are not eligible to apply.

STEP – 1: Fill Application Form

  • Fill the Authentication Form

STEP – 2: Upload Images

  • Click on the button for ‘UPLOAD SCANNED IMAGES‘.
  • Upload the photo and signatures one by one.
  • Click on the preview button and change if found not OK.
  • Make final upload and go to the next step.

STEP – 3: Fee Payment

Here we are discussing that how to remit the application fee:

  • Select the mode of payment as via credit/debit card/paytm or via depositing fee in cash in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank through e-challan.
  • In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit cards, select the payment gateway.
  • In case of selecting challan, an e-Challan will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with the amount to be paid.
  • The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the selected bank for making payment.
  • Application fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
