Delhi University 2018 Second Admission List for PG courses has been released on 31st July 2018. DU Admission 2018 is offered by the Delhi University which is the renowned Central University. The University provides admission in various UG & PG courses in its affiliated colleges. Admission in some of the courses at Delhi University is done through entrance exam while admission in some courses is based on the qualifying examination. For UG medical & dental courses, the admission is offered only on the basis of NEET entrance exam. DU Admission New Changes Introduced:

Here we have mentioned the some new changes introduced for the admission process:

  • Registrationfor the merit based and entrance based courses can be done on the same portalthrough one application.
  • Details of applicant’s marks in the 12th class will be automatically captured by the software from the database provided by CBSE, once a student enters their roll number & other details.
  • For admission insports category, candidates can now submit their three best certificatesinstead of one. These certificates have to be uploaded as three separate documents.
  • Five year integrated course in Journalismhas been added as a new course to the portal.

DU Entrance Exam for Admission 2018

Various DU affiliated colleges provide admission in their offered courses through the entrance exam. Each college conducts its own entrance exam for which candidate has to appear in order to get admission. Candidates have to qualify the entrance exam to get admission.

DU admission 2019 will be done on the basis of entrance exam and merit list of the qualifying examination. DU offers admission in UG, PG and other courses in the field of engineering, medical, management, etc. The entrance examination will be conducted on different dates as per the courses.

DU PG Admission 2018

Admission to various PG courses is provided via two modes i.e. category-I 50% under all categories (Direct Admission) and category-II (Through Entrance Test). Check more details below:

Category-I Direct Admission, 50% under all categories:

The candidates who wish to get admission under the 50% category have to register themselves by filling the application form in person. The form is filled with Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).

Category-II through Entrance Test

Candidates applying under this category are instructed to apply through online in NCWEB. The admission are offered to PG courses in Arts and Arts/Science/Engineering/ Humanities. The registration was done only in online mode.

  • The registration Fee for GEN/OBC candidates is Rs. 500/- per course.
  • For SC/ST/PWD candidates, the fee will be of Rs. 250/- per course.

  • DU Syllabus
  • The entrance test syllabus for UG Courses is prescribed by the University. However, candidates can study their academic syllabus of qualifying exam. The standard of the entrance examination that of 11th and 12th level.

DU Admission Cut-off

Admission is offered only to those candidates who fulfills the cut-off criteria set by the various affiliated colleges of Delhi University.  The cut-off is published on 19th June 2018. The admission is provided on the basis of merit produced by the various colleges. Candidates will check the DU Result 2018 in the month of July. The merit will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s academic record in the qualifying examination. Candidates can report to the college where they wish to take admission.
